Company History
Paul
J. Scariano, Inc. was started in early 1996 (date of incorporation 2-6-96) as
a heavy construction company with the intent of successfully competing for
construction projects in the government and industrial sectors. Our overall goal is to maintain a strong
and profitable organization which can provide sustenance and financial
security for all of its loyal employees, even during time of economic
uncertainty.
As this was a well
established industry with many active and already successful participants,
and being as the business was started with nearly no capital, it was clear
that to enter the industry and to then be successful in it, management would
need to ensure a great deal of planning, hard work, and generally live by our
dictum of cost effective construction through better engineering and
management.
The goals of growth and
subsequent profit were never firmly set.
It was just clear that we needed to grow our balance sheet and our
project experience as rapidly as we could, in order to move into slightly
less competitive levels of the market, while maintaining and satisfying our
commitment to safety, quality and our cash flow needs, while not allowing the
organization to grow beyond the capabilities of its principals to manage.
As a small sign that
management has begun to fulfill these goals, we offer the following
statistics:
